Carpet Depot opened in 1992 as a New and Used carpet outlet. We bought and sold discounted truckloads of new carpet. We also sold used carpet from hotels, offices, and homes. Property owners and rental managers quickly found us due to our low prices and reliable service. Many of these original customers are still customers and close friends today. During the 90's business grew and so did our products and services. Because our buying power grew, the cost difference between new and used diminished. It no longer made sense to sell used carpet due to our ability to buy new at deep discounts. Our installation services also grew due to a simple philosophy: We use the best independent contractors available and provide our customers with excellent service at market rates. Our commitment to mutual respect between installer, customer, and store insures long term relationships. Our installers and customers stay with us for many years. The last five years have been the most exciting in our history. The size of our store, inventory, and number of employees has doubled. We now stock hundreds of rolls of the highest quality frieze, woven carpets, berbers, as well as carpet tiles. We now communicate online with customers across the country. Carpet Depot's growth has always been about changing and adapting to our customer's needs. One thing, however, will never change. We value every customer, and you'll know it the minute you walk in the door. |
